The DailyBreath Asthma Community Flare-Up Map

The DailyBreath mobile app supports crowdsourcing asthma flare-ups data to create a shared asthma journey for its community members. Your experience with asthma is personal, but the exposures you experience are local and likely impact others with asthma. By recording your flares in the DailyBreath mobile app, you contribute to the DailyBreath Asthma Community Flare-Up map.

The DailyBreath Asthma Community Flare-Up map helps members of the DailyBreath community to understand asthma trigger risk in the context of where they’ll be during the day. In the near future, we’ll implement the DailyBreath Live Map here online which will make the DailyBreath Community Flare-Up Map, as populated in real-time, available to the general public to be aware of where allergy and asthma symptoms are being experienced nearby, in their neighborhood, their community, their city, and beyond.

Community Features: DailyBreath Asthma Community Members Share Their Asthma Journey

The DailyBreath mobile app includes other features to help you share your asthma journey with the broader asthma community.

  • You will be able to build your own personal caregiver network through DailyBreath Friends and chat with them.

  • You’ll be able to contribute to a discussion board on relevant topics related to allergies and asthma.

The mobile app facilitates sharing information but also builds user knowledge. We encourage asthma patients and caregivers to share the experience in daily asthma management with each other. We envision DailyBreath as an asthma community that is able to share symptoms, exposure triggers, treatments, and other health solutions, enabling learning from others’ asthma experiences.

As pollution is local and personal, we want to empower communities to know where populations at risk are vulnerable to exposures so they can take action to reduce those exposures.

This mobile app is to serve the allergy and asthma community. We would love to learn about your asthma journey, what digital health solutions you’ve sought and your experience with them, and what you think of DailyBreath. We want to co-create a solution and a service that meets the needs of you individually, and the community, at large.
